Bridging a wireless 802.11b network with a wired ethernet network.
The wireless access point in this diagram acts as a network bridge.  Because of the bridge, the wireless PC appears to be on the same network as the traditional ethernet PC's.  They may communicate back and forth with each other freely.

i have a usb adapter and i trying to bridge a connection from my other router. With my usb connection i have made a bridge though my computer to my wired card. And from my wired card to my other router. Basically a connection from a wireless usb to a router bridged though my computer. When i try to connect to my bridged router i get a DNS error wat is wrong??

i have a pc with ip 10.13.8.228 sub 255.255.248.0 def. gateway 10.13.8.1;dns 10.13.8.105 pref dns 10.13.8.28 . this i want to connect to a network with two speedlan 9202 (with wired lan 192.168.69.1 wireless ip 10.0.0.1 and 192.168.1.1 and wireless ip 10.0.0.2 respectively). the existing network server has d following data (10.13.8.105 sub 255.255.248.0 def. gateway 10.13.8.1;dns 10.13.8.105 pref dns 10.13.8.28). how can d integration be done in point-to-point connection. the network terminates on the swithces at both ends
