One of the things I really enjoy about the HotLine server is its ability to run behind a NAT based firewall with very little configuation. Hotline can be installed on a computer behind NAT based connection sharing solutions as long as the solution supports custom PORT FORWARDING or VIRTUAL SERVERS.
Hotline operates on 4 TCP ports: 5500, 5501, 5002 and 5503 by default. All four ports need to be forwarded from your sharing device to your Hotline server. If your router supports port RANGE forwarding, specify ports 5500-5503.
If you have configured hotline on a non-standard port, add three to get your port range. Example: If you set the Hotline port to 6020, your port range would be 6020 to 6023.

WARNING: Like all file sharing communities, HotLine is filled with ‘rascals’. Be sure your anti-virus software is up to date before downloading anything from unknown Hotline web sites. If you don’t have an anti-virus program you can download one free from http://www.grisoft.com

Hey everybody,
Go here - http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/ics/icsconfiguration.htm

Download the ICS configuration tool and look for the Hotline Server ICS Mapping (download it, double-click it and voila!).

A utility that sorts out your port forwarding on ICS.
Check the site, you'll know what i mean.
Hope this helps.

Hotline Server behind router
Hey guys, I have had a hotline server running before and am frusterated to wanted extremes here.

This is the setup:

since my pictures wont work, i'll describe, its very simple. We have the router connected to the net, and then to our two computers. The one with hotline is running on XP.

I have seen a problem very close to what was described in a post I read earlier, but I believe it is a completley differnt setup. I can connect with my server, it shows on trackers, I can even press the "log in as admin" button with no problems, but I cannot log in from the trackers.

if anyone can help that would be very much appriatted

I mean even the html on this site can see threw my router to me real IP.. whats the matter with hotline?
