Am to mann a networked computer lab in Jan,2006,but idon't have adequate knowledge and skills in its management. ineed help to start up this new task.i did theoretical networking and microsoft office applications courses. what advice and technical skills do i ineed, right from the word go?

I need to connect two buildings (next to each other)with a WiFi connection? In other words I have two seperate networks (one in each building) and I want connect them together via a WiFi connection. One building already was a Wifi/router.

is it possible to setup a wireless router as a repeater ? I have a neighbor who I'd like to share internet with. Can I setup my wireless router to receive from his wireless router? Or is this why they sell repeaters / access points ?
